Qualifications & Experience Sought:

  • Valid school psychologist certification or licensure (state requirements must be met)
  • Master’s or higher degree in School Psychology or a closely related field
  • Proficiency in conducting psychological and educational assessments
  • Strong understanding of intervention strategies, MTSS/RTI, and behavioral supports
  • Compassionate approach and effective communication with students, families, and staff
  • Previous experience in K-12 educational settings preferred
  • Organizational skills to manage caseloads, evaluations, and timely documentation
  • Teamwork mindset to participate in IEP and multidisciplinary team meetings

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct individual assessments to identify learning, developmental, and behavioral needs
  • Interpret data and present findings as part of the special education eligibility process
  • Consult with teachers and parents to design and monitor evidence-based interventions
  • Provide direct counseling or therapy services when required
  • Support the creation and implementation of positive behavioral plans
  • Participate in crisis response, threat/risk assessments, and prevention programming
  • Maintain thorough and confidential records in compliance with all regulations
