Desired Skills and Experience:

  • Valid certification/licensure as a School Psychologist
  • Experience working with students across elementary (K-5), middle (6-8), and high school (9-12) grade levels
  • Strong assessment, consultation, and counseling abilities
  • Proficient in conducting evaluations and interpreting results
  • Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills
  • Collaborative approach to working with multidisciplinary teams
  • Adaptability to shifting caseloads and changing priorities

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform assessments to evaluate student learning, behavioral, emotional, and developmental needs
  • Develop and recommend individualized interventions or supports to facilitate student success
  • Consult with teachers, administrators, and families to address academic or behavioral concerns
  • Contribute to Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and 504 Plans
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of assessments and interventions
  • Provide crisis intervention and counseling when needed
  • Support positive behavioral interventions and mental health initiatives campus-wide
