Qualifications:
- Hold an active, valid School Psychologist license
- Experience working with students in grades K–12, including elementary, middle, and high school
- Strong understanding of psychological assessments, intervention strategies, and special education procedures
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving abilities
- Able to collaborate effectively with educators, administrators, families, and community service providers
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations to identify students’ academic, behavioral, and emotional needs
- Develop and implement evidence-based interventions and support plans
- Provide direct counseling services, both individually and in groups
- Collaborate with teachers and staff on strategies to improve student outcomes
- Participate actively in IEP meetings and help determine eligibility for special education services
- Maintain accurate, confidential documentation and adhere to ethical standards
- Serve as a resource for crisis intervention and prevention programs
