Qualifications:

  • Hold an active, valid School Psychologist license
  • Experience working with students in grades K–12, including elementary, middle, and high school
  • Strong understanding of psychological assessments, intervention strategies, and special education procedures
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving abilities
  • Able to collaborate effectively with educators, administrators, families, and community service providers

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive evaluations to identify students’ academic, behavioral, and emotional needs
  • Develop and implement evidence-based interventions and support plans
  • Provide direct counseling services, both individually and in groups
  • Collaborate with teachers and staff on strategies to improve student outcomes
  • Participate actively in IEP meetings and help determine eligibility for special education services
  • Maintain accurate, confidential documentation and adhere to ethical standards
  • Serve as a resource for crisis intervention and prevention programs
