This full-time (with part-time considered) contract role spans a variety of educational settings, including three elementary schools, a middle school, and a high school. Assignments and locations may vary, offering a dynamic environment and the chance to work with students from pre-kindergarten through age 21.
Your workday will follow an accommodating schedule: Monday through Friday, either 7:20am–2:40pm or 8:30am–3:50pm, providing balance alongside professional commitment.
Key Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid Maryland School Psychologist certification required
- Previous school psychology experience strongly preferred
- Ability to conduct comprehensive psychological and behavioral evaluations (cognitive, social/emotional, adaptive, FBA, BIP, etc.)
- Skilled in facilitating and contributing to IEP and SST meetings
- Flexibility in adjusting to the varied needs of elementary, middle, and high school student populations
Responsibilities Include:
- Completing assessments and evaluations for students PK–21 as needed
- Participating in IEP and SST meetings, collaborating with educators and families
- Offering professional input for the potential development of Functional Behavior Assessments and Behavior Intervention Plans
- Supporting counseling services if required (at this time, no students have been identified for such services)
- Utilizing a school-provided laptop and resources for all documentation and communication
