Key Qualifications:
- Current or eligible for Washington certification through OSPI
- Master’s or Doctorate degree in School Psychology or related field
- Demonstrated experience or coursework in school-based psychological services
- Comfortable working with elementary and middle school-aged students
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills for engaging with students, families, and team members
- Flexibility and adaptability in dynamic educational environments
- Willingness to work as a traveler to the district if needed
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive psychological services, including assessments, evaluations, and individualized intervention strategies
- Collaborate with educators, counselors, and families to support student learning and emotional well-being
- Conduct individual and group counseling sessions to address behavioral, social, and emotional challenges
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute expertise to the development of individualized plans
- Advocate for students’ mental health needs and promote supportive learning environments
- Engage in ongoing communication with school staff and parents regarding student progress and recommendations
