Key Qualifications:

  • Current or eligible for Washington certification through OSPI
  • Master’s or Doctorate degree in School Psychology or related field
  • Demonstrated experience or coursework in school-based psychological services
  • Comfortable working with elementary and middle school-aged students
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills for engaging with students, families, and team members
  • Flexibility and adaptability in dynamic educational environments
  • Willingness to work as a traveler to the district if needed

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive psychological services, including assessments, evaluations, and individualized intervention strategies
  • Collaborate with educators, counselors, and families to support student learning and emotional well-being
  • Conduct individual and group counseling sessions to address behavioral, social, and emotional challenges
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute expertise to the development of individualized plans
  • Advocate for students’ mental health needs and promote supportive learning environments
  • Engage in ongoing communication with school staff and parents regarding student progress and recommendations
