Key Qualifications:

  • Valid credentials as a school psychologist
  • Experience working with students in grades K-5, 6-8, and 9-12
  • Skilled in administering psychoeducational assessments and interpreting results
  • Proficient in developing and tracking Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
  • Strong communication and consultation abilities with students, staff, and families
  • Well-versed in multi-tiered systems of support (MTSS) and crisis intervention strategies
  • Comfortable working independently and as part of multidisciplinary teams

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate students’ needs through assessments and observation
  • Provide direct counseling and intervention for academic, social, and emotional challenges
  • Consult with teachers, administrators, and parents to implement effective supports
  • Participate actively in IEP meetings and contribute to team-based decision-making
  • Promote equitable learning opportunities for all students
  • Maintain up-to-date documentation aligned with school and district policies
  • Support the ongoing development of positive school climate initiatives
