Three positions are available to work across multiple schools, serving Jefferson, Monroe Public, Airport, and Ida communities. Assignments are fully onsite and span the full school year, from August to early June.
Key Qualifications:
- Hold an active Michigan School Psychologist license (verification required).
- Experience supporting K-12 students in a school-based setting is highly valued.
- Adept at in-person assessments, interventions, and collaborating with multi-disciplinary teams.
- Strong communicator, skilled in working with students, teachers, and families from diverse backgrounds.
- Flexible, collaborative, and able to travel to multiple school sites within the district.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychoeducational evaluations and participate in IEP meetings.
- Develop, implement, and monitor academic and behavioral interventions.
- Collaborate with teachers, counselors, and administrators to support student success.
- Provide crisis intervention, counseling, and consultation as needed to address student needs.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation, ensuring compliance with federal and state guidelines.
- Serve as a resource for school staff and families regarding mental health and learning challenges.
