As part of a dedicated team, you’ll have the chance to work directly with young learners, teachers, and parents to address academic, emotional, and behavioral needs. The role spans the entire school year from August to late May, ensuring continuity of care and relationship-building.
Key Qualifications:
- Active state licensure/certification as a school psychologist
- Proven experience with elementary caseloads preferred
- Strong assessment, counseling, and report-writing skills
- Ability to collaborate within multidisciplinary teams

Core Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychological assessments and interpret results to guide individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Provide direct crisis intervention, counseling, and consultation services for students
- Support teachers and administrators in developing effective behavioral and academic strategies
- Facilitate communication between families, teachers, and community resources
- Maintain detailed, accurate documentation complying with state and federal regulations
- Participate in eligibility and team meetings, contributing expertise to student support plans
