Exciting contract opportunity available for experienced School Psychologists seeking to make a difference in a supportive educational environment. This onsite position is for the upcoming school year, working 0.8 FTE, located conveniently near Bellingham and La Conner, WA. This role is designed for professionals with a passion for fostering student success and well-being.

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

  • Valid certification as a School Psychologist in Washington State
  • Master’s degree or higher in School Psychology or related field
  • Previous experience working in school settings is strongly preferred
  • Strong ability to collaborate with educators, families, and other support staff
  • Excellent communication, assessment, and organizational skills
  • Familiarity with special education procedures, regulations, and best practices

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive psychoeducational assessments for students referred for evaluation
  • Support students’ mental health and learning through counseling, consultation, and interventions
  • Participate actively in multidisciplinary team meetings (including IEP development)
  • Assist educators and families in designing and implementing effective strategies for student growth
  • Contribute to crisis response efforts and help sustain a safe, positive school climate
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of student progress, assessments, and services provided
