Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments to evaluate students' cognitive, emotional, and behavioral needs.
  • Collaborate with educators, parents, and staff to develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) and intervention plans.
  • Provide counseling and crisis intervention services to support students’ mental health and social-emotional development.
  • Offer consultative services and professional development to school personnel on behavioral strategies and mental health issues.
  • Utilize data-driven approaches to monitor student progress and adjust support strategies accordingly.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Master’s or Doctoral degree in School Psychology from an accredited program.
  • Valid School Psychology credential or licensure in Oregon.
  • Strong knowledge of assessment tools and psychological testing.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for working effectively with diverse student populations and school personnel.
  • Ability to travel between schools within the Bend area to support multiple locations as needed.
  • Experience with multi-tiered systems of support (MTSS) and positive behavioral interventions.
