Desired Experience and Credentials:
- Hold a valid licensure/certification as a School Psychologist
- Proficient in assessment, counseling, and consultation within K-12 (elementary, middle, and high school) populations
- Experience developing interventions, conducting evaluations, and contributing to student support teams
- Collaborate effectively with educators, families, and support personnel
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Familiarity with IEPs, 504 Plans, and multi-tiered systems of support
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments and interpret results to guide educational planning
- Provide direct and indirect counseling services to students managing academic, social, or behavioral challenges
- Consult with teachers, administrators, and families to design and implement effective interventions and strategies
- Participate actively in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary teams to ensure student needs are met
- Offer crisis intervention and mental health support as needed
- Guide the development and implementation of preventive and responsive support programs
