This contract role offers the opportunity to collaborate with staff, empower students, and foster an inclusive environment across elementary, middle, and high school levels.
Desired Qualifications:
- Valid state licensure as a School Psychologist
- Certification appropriate for K-12 settings
- Experience delivering psychological services in elementary, middle, and/or high school settings
- Solid understanding of IEP processes, assessment, and counseling techniques
- Strong interpersonal skills with educators, students, and families
- Ability to organize, prioritize, and adapt to various school environments
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments and interpret results to inform educational planning
- Participate in multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement IEPs and 504 Plans
- Provide individual and group counseling to support student well-being
- Collaborate with educators and administrators to create safe, supportive learning environments
- Offer crisis intervention and behavioral consultation as needed
- Communicate effectively with parents, guardians, and outside providers
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with school and legal standards
