Qualifications and Desired Experience:

  • Master's Degree or Specialist Degree in School Psychology required
  • Must hold a valid Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with School Psychologist endorsement
  • Experience conducting psychological assessments and therapy with elementary-aged students is highly valued
  • Strong communication skills for collaboration with educators and families
  • Responsive, organized, and eager to engage in a dynamic school setting

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments, testing, and diagnostic examinations for elementary students
  • Provide direct therapeutic interventions to support student mental health, behavioral, and academic needs
  • Attend Planning and Placement Team (PPT) meetings as a contributing member of the educational team
  • Collaborate closely with teachers, families, and administration to develop and implement individualized education and intervention plans
  • Maintain detailed documentation and ensure compliance with state and federal guidelines
