Your workday runs from 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM, with a 30-minute unpaid lunch and approximately 32.5 paid hours each week.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Possess a valid Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with a School Psychologist Endorsement
- Solid track record working with children in pre-kindergarten through middle school
- Demonstrated ability in play-based assessment methodologies
- Skilled at evaluating and supporting students using creative, flexible approaches beyond traditional standardized testing
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational assessments, utilizing both play-based and innovative techniques tailored to young learners
- Collaborate with educators, administrators, and families to support the social, emotional, and academic development of students
- Develop and implement effective intervention plans and recommendations for individual students and groups
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute insights on best practices in student evaluation and support
- Document assessments and progress in a clear, timely, and professional manner
