This full-time opportunity is based within a single-school district serving about 700 students, offering the chance to build lasting relationships with students, educators, and families in a close-knit educational setting. Your workday runs from 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM, with a 30-minute unpaid lunch and approximately 32.5 paid hours each week.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Possess a valid Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with a School Psychologist Endorsement
• Solid track record working with children in pre-kindergarten through middle school
• Demonstrated ability in play-based assessment methodologies
• Skilled at evaluating and supporting students using creative, flexible approaches beyond traditional standardized testing

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational assessments, utilizing both play-based and innovative techniques tailored to young learners
• Collaborate with educators, administrators, and families to support the social, emotional, and academic development of students
• Develop and implement effective intervention plans and recommendations for individual students and groups
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute insights on best practices in student evaluation and support
• Document assessments and progress in a clear, timely, and professional manner
