This contract position is an excellent opportunity for a compassionate and skilled School Psychologist eager to foster emotional growth and promote academic success for children.

Key Qualifications:

  • Active School Psychologist certification or eligibility for certification
  • Master’s degree or higher in School Psychology or a related discipline
  • Strong understanding of educational and psychological assessment tools
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities with parents, staff, and students
  • Experience with Response to Intervention (RTI), Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), and 504 planning preferred
  • Knowledge of current best practices in assessment, counseling, and behavioral intervention

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive psychological and psychoeducational assessments
  • Collaborate with educators, administrators, and families to support student achievement
  • Develop, implement, and monitor behavior intervention and crisis response plans
  • Facilitate individual and group counseling sessions
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to IEP and 504 planning
  • Consult with teachers, staff, and families on effective strategies to support all learners
  • Advocate for students’ mental health, emotional well-being, and social development
