Key Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid School Psychologist certification for the state
- Master’s or Specialist-level degree in School Psychology or a related field
- Prior experience in a school setting preferred
- Strong understanding of IEP development, progress monitoring, and interventions
- Exceptional communication skills, with a collaborative approach to working with students, educators, and families
- Familiarity with conducting psychoeducational evaluations and writing comprehensive reports
Role Responsibilities:
- Administer assessments to identify students’ academic, emotional, and behavioral needs
- Participate in developing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and monitor student progress
- Consult with teachers, administrators, and parents to provide recommendations and intervention strategies
- Promote positive behavior supports and build resilience in students
- Collaborate in multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive support for learners
- Maintain accurate records and adhere to all compliance guidelines
