Make a meaningful impact this summer by supporting students’ educational growth in a short-term contract opportunity focused on compensatory services. This role involves working with a diverse student population in an engaging school environment from June 15th to July 30th, 2026. Typical hours are from 7:45 AM to 2:00 PM, with specific weekly hours adjusted based on student needs. This in-person assignment offers a chance to work directly on-site—remote or virtual arrangements are not available.

Your expertise in school psychology will be instrumental in providing much-needed assessments, interventions, and support services during the ESY (Extended School Year) period.

Qualifications:

  • Current and active Alabama School Psychologist license required
  • Previous experience as a school psychologist in an educational setting preferred
  • Strong assessment, consultation, and intervention skills
  • Ability to communicate effectively with students, parents, and staff
  • Flexibility to adapt to student scheduling and service demands

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver compensatory psychological services to students in accordance with individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Conduct psychoeducational evaluations and interpret results
  • Collaborate with teachers and support staff to implement interventions
  • Maintain accurate documentation of services provided
  • Consult with families and school professionals as needed to best support student outcomes
