Make a significant impact as a School Psychologist serving students in grades 7 through 12 for the upcoming academic cycle. This full-time contract opportunity offers the chance to support learners by providing comprehensive psychological assessments and evaluations within a diverse, collaborative school environment. Position is available to start as soon as possible and continues through June 2027, offering stability and the ability to build ongoing relationships with students and staff throughout the academic years.
Key Qualifications:
- Valid School Psychologist certification (state requirements apply)
- Previous experience working with middle and high school populations preferred
- Proficient in conducting psychoeducational assessments and writing detailed evaluation reports
- Strong knowledge of special education laws and evaluation procedures
- Exceptional organizational, communication, and time-management skills
- Ability to work independently while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams
Key Responsibilities:
- Full evaluation caseload: responsible for all initial and re-evaluation assessments for students in grades 7–12
- Administer standardized tests, gather data, and interpret results to inform eligibility for special education services
- Prepare in-depth written evaluation reports compliant with state and federal guidelines
- Participate in eligibility meetings, and provide consultative support to school teams and families
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation
