Key Qualifications:

• Valid School Psychologist certification in Illinois
• Master’s degree or higher in School Psychology or a related field
• Experience conducting psychological assessments and comprehensive evaluations
• Familiarity with IEP processes, RTI/MTSS frameworks, and special education law
• Excellent observational, analytical, and communication skills
• Ability to build rapport with students, staff, and parents from diverse backgrounds
• Flexibility and adaptability to collaborate within a dynamic school setting

Primary Responsibilities:

• Conduct individual and group assessments to identify academic, social, emotional, and behavioral needs
• Develop, implement, and monitor behavior intervention and support plans
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings, serving as a key resource for student support strategies
• Provide consultation to teachers, administrators, and parents regarding interventions and classroom accommodations
• Assist with crisis intervention and counseling as needed
• Document findings and recommendations clearly and efficiently according to school protocols
• Support ongoing student progress monitoring and data-driven decision-making
