Key Qualifications/Desired Experience:

  • Certification/licensure as a School Psychologist (or eligibility to obtain)
  • Experience working with elementary-age students
  • Strong skills in assessment, testing, and report documentation
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a collaborative team
  • Knowledge of IEP process, special education law, and best practices for student support
  • Excellent communication and organizational abilities

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Conduct psychological and academic assessments for elementary students
  • Write detailed reports summarizing findings and making recommendations
  • Participate in the IEP process, providing expert input and support
  • Collaborate closely with teachers, families, and fellow specialists to develop student interventions
  • Deliver counseling or consultation services as needed to help students achieve their educational goals
  • Maintain accurate and timely records in accordance with district and state requirements
