This contract opportunity seeks a dedicated professional eager to support students’ academic, social, and emotional development while working closely with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams.
Preferred Qualifications & Experience:
- Valid state certification or licensure as a School Psychologist
- Master’s or higher degree in School Psychology or a closely related field
- Prior experience providing psychological services within a school environment preferred
- Strong assessment, diagnostic, and consultation skills
- Knowledge of special education laws and best practices
- Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to work effectively as part of a multi-disciplinary team
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychological and psychoeducational assessments for students referred for evaluation
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents to develop and implement effective intervention strategies
- Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and help design appropriate educational plans
- Provide direct counseling and intervention services to students, either individually or in group settings
- Consult with staff and families to address academic, behavioral, and emotional concerns
- Assist in the development and implementation of behavior management programs
- Keep accurate records and prepare required reports in a timely manner
