Required Qualifications and Experience:
- Master’s or Doctoral degree in School Psychology or a related field
- Active state licensure or certification as a School Psychologist
- Previous experience in K-12 settings highly preferred
- Strong assessment, counseling, and consultation skills
- Proficiency with IEP processes and educational interventions
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychological and educational assessments to identify student needs
- Collaborate with educators, families, and administrators to develop student support strategies
- Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and contribute expert recommendations
- Provide counseling services to students, addressing academic, social, behavioral, and emotional challenges
- Support development and implementation of behavioral intervention plans
- Maintain accurate records and adhere to all professional and ethical standards
- Engage in crisis intervention and provide guidance on mental health initiatives within the school community
