Desired Qualifications:

• Current certification/licensure as a School Psychologist (as required by state regulations)
• Experience performing psychological assessments and developing intervention plans in K-12 schools
• Knowledge of federal and state special education laws, including IDEA and Section 504
• Strong communication and consultation skills with diverse student populations and staff
• Ability to manage caseloads, meet deadlines, and document services
• Adaptability and resourcefulness in school-based settings

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations using standardized tools
• Participate in the development and implementation of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Provide counseling, crisis intervention, and behavioral support to students individually and in groups
• Consult with teachers and families regarding student needs and recommend suitable strategies
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to help shape educational plans
• Maintain thorough, organized records and submit timely reports
• Deliver training and support for school staff around mental health and behavioral interventions
