Desired Qualifications:
- Current certification/licensure as a School Psychologist (as required by state regulations)
- Experience performing psychological assessments and developing intervention plans in K-12 schools
- Knowledge of federal and state special education laws, including IDEA and Section 504
- Strong communication and consultation skills with diverse student populations and staff
- Ability to manage caseloads, meet deadlines, and document services
- Adaptability and resourcefulness in school-based settings
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations using standardized tools
- Participate in the development and implementation of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Provide counseling, crisis intervention, and behavioral support to students individually and in groups
- Consult with teachers and families regarding student needs and recommend suitable strategies
