Step into a dynamic and rewarding contract opportunity as a school psychologist, supporting students from early childhood through 5th grade in a vibrant educational environment near Bolingbrook and Oak Lawn, IL. With a focus on building-based services across three school buildings, you’ll play a pivotal role in fostering students’ well-being and success throughout the academic year.

In this position, you’ll work full-time—32.5 hours per week—Monday through Friday, with a daily schedule of 6.5 hours. The contract runs from August 17th through June 5th, aligning with the school calendar for optimal work-life balance.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

  • Valid certification/licensure as a School Psychologist
  • Experience supporting diverse student populations, including all disability types
  • Strong assessment skills and familiarity with individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Comfortable facilitating and scheduling meetings with families and staff
  • Experience conducting thorough psychoeducational evaluations and providing counseling
  • Effective collaboration and communication abilities
  • Multilingual skills in Spanish, Polish, or Arabic are highly valued

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive student assessments
  • Schedule and facilitate IEP and multidisciplinary team meetings
  • Provide individual and group counseling for students
  • Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to support educational plans
  • Travel between three buildings to meet the needs of early childhood through 5th-grade students
  • Assist with program planning and resources for students with various disabilities
