Skills and Experience Sought:
- Active certification/licensure as a School Psychologist (or eligibility)
- Prior experience working with varied age groups, preferably both early childhood and adolescent populations
- Knowledge of school-based assessments, individualized education plans, and behavioral interventions
- Ability to communicate effectively with students, staff, and families from diverse backgrounds
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills
- A collaborative spirit and a passion for creating inclusive, positive learning environments
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations and re-evaluations for students at both junior high and kindergarten buildings
- Collaborate closely with teachers, counselors, and administrators to implement strategies that support students’ learning and emotional well-being
- Assist with crisis intervention, behavioral management planning, and consultation regarding best practices
- Facilitate participation in IEP meetings, interpreting assessment results for parents and educational staff
- Advocate for students’ needs and uphold ethical standards within all aspects of practice
