This full-time, in-person role serves a caseload of approximately 30 students, allowing for meaningful connections and impactful intervention. With a workday from 8 AM to 3 PM, you’ll be contributing directly to a school community near Bolingbrook, IL, providing vital assessment, consultation, and comprehensive support services.

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

  • Current licensure as a school psychologist in Illinois
  • Strong experience working with school-aged children and diverse student populations
  • Proficiency in conducting psychoeducational assessments and interpreting data
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving abilities
  • Familiarity with IEP development, special education procedures, and Response to Intervention (RTI) frameworks

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough psychological evaluations to support special education eligibility and student planning
  • Collaborate closely with teachers, administrators, and families to design and implement individualized interventions
  • Participate actively in IEP meetings and contribute to the creation of effective education plans
  • Offer counseling and behavioral support to students, ensuring a safe and nurturing school environment
  • Provide crisis intervention as needed and serve as a knowledgeable resource regarding students’ mental health and emotional well-being
  • Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with state and federal guidelines
