Make a meaningful impact supporting elementary-aged students as a School Psychologist with this contract role, located conveniently near Bolingbrook, IL. You’ll work onsite (with potential for a hybrid schedule), serving two friendly elementary schools from now through June 1st. The position offers a predictable schedule, running weekdays from 7:45am to 2:50pm (35.7 hours weekly, plus a 45-minute unpaid lunch).

You’ll manage a manageable caseload of about 30-35 students, focusing on providing high-quality evaluations, facilitating domain meetings, and contributing to Multi-Tiered Systems of Support (MTSS). The schools are seeking someone eager to make a difference, ready to step in, and prepared to interview immediately.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Current School Psychologist credential (Illinois licensure or eligibility).
  • Experience conducting psychoeducational assessments and writing clear reports.
  • Ability to facilitate domain meetings and work collaboratively with staff, families, and related service professionals.
  • Familiarity with MTSS processes and evaluation procedures.
  • Strong interpersonal communication and organizational skills.
  • Preferred: Previous experience at the elementary level.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive student evaluations and re-evaluations.
  • Lead and facilitate domain meetings to develop effective supports.
  • Serve as a resource to faculty and staff in the implementation of MTSS.
  • Maintain thorough documentation in compliance with state and federal regulations.
  • Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and family members to support positive student outcomes.
