Key Qualifications & Skills:

  • Master’s or Doctoral degree in School Psychology from an accredited program
  • Valid state licensure (or eligibility) as a School Psychologist
  • Proven experience with psychological assessment in an educational setting
  • In-depth knowledge of special education processes and IEP development
  • Ability to effectively interpret psychological data and present findings to multidisciplinary teams
  • Strong communication, consultation, and organizational skills
  • Experience or training in crisis intervention and behavioral management is a plus

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive evaluations to assess students’ learning, social, and behavioral needs
  • Interpret assessment results and provide recommendations for educational planning
  • Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents to implement effective support strategies
  • Participate in the development and review of Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
  • Provide counseling, crisis intervention, and behavioral support to students when needed
  • Facilitate professional development workshops and resources for school staff
  • Maintain thorough and timely documentation in compliance with state and federal regulations
