A dynamic opportunity is available for a skilled professional to provide psychological services within a school setting in Boston, MA. This contract position involves working with students ranging from Kindergarten through 12th grade, requiring expertise across early childhood through high school.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments to evaluate cognitive, social, and emotional development.
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to develop individualized education plans (IEPs) and behavioral interventions.
- Provide counseling and support services to students to promote academic success and emotional well-being.
- Participate in multidisciplinary meetings to discuss student progress and recommend appropriate interventions.
- Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with school policies and legal requirements.
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Valid licensure or certification as a School Psychologist.
- Experience working with students in Grades K-5 and 9-12.
- Strong knowledge of psychological assessment tools and educational standards.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with diverse school communities.
- Ability to adapt strategies to meet the unique needs of students at various developmental stages.
