Key Qualifications and Experience:

  • Valid School Psychologist certification (or eligibility) for Massachusetts
  • Master’s or doctoral degree in School Psychology or related field
  • Experience conducting assessments and developing educational intervention plans
  • Strong foundational knowledge of special education law and processes
  • Excellent communication and organization skills when collaborating with students, staff, and families
  • Ability to respond to crisis situations and offer emotional/behavioral support
  • Previous experience in K-12 school environments preferred

Responsibilities:

  • Administer individualized psychological assessments and interpret results
  • Collaborate with educators and parents to design effective IEPs and 504 plans
  • Provide targeted counseling and intervention for students with diverse needs
  • Contribute to multi-disciplinary teams focused on student success and safety
  • Support the implementation of RTI strategies and evidence-based behavior management
  • Consult with teachers to offer strategies for academic and social-emotional growth
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with school and state guidelines
