Key Qualifications:

  • Master’s or Specialist-level degree in School Psychology from an accredited program
  • Current state license or eligibility as a School Psychologist
  • Strong assessment, diagnostic, and counseling skills for K-12 students
  • Familiarity with IEP processes, special education law, and child studies
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities with staff, families, and community partners

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Conduct psychoeducational assessments and provide expert recommendations for student support
  • Participate actively in multidisciplinary teams for IEP development and implementation
  • Offer short-term counseling and crisis intervention to students and families in need
  • Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and other professionals to build positive interventions and behavior support plans
  • Deliver consultation and professional development for staff on mental health, learning differences, and behavioral strategies
  • Maintain detailed documentation in accordance with district, state, and federal guidelines
