This opportunity is ideal for a dedicated School Psychologist interested in providing specialized support to students while experiencing the dynamic environment of Boston, MA. As a traveling School Psychologist, you will play a critical role in assessing and supporting student mental health and learning needs across various educational settings.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments to identify student learning and behavioral needs.
  • Collaborate with educators, parents, and support staff to develop individualized education plans (IEPs).
  • Provide counseling and intervention strategies to support student emotional and social development.
  • Monitor student progress and adjust support plans accordingly.
  • Offer crisis intervention and consultation services to school staff.
  • Maintain thorough and confidential documentation of assessments and interventions.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Master’s or Doctorate degree in School Psychology or related field.
  • Valid state licensure or certification as a School Psychologist.
  • Experience conducting school-based psychological assessments and interventions.
  • Strong knowledge of special education laws and practices.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Adaptability and willingness to travel to multiple school sites within the Boston area.
