What you’ll need to succeed:

  • Current licensure or certification as a School Psychologist (State credentials, NASP preferred)
  • Experience in K-12 educational settings
  • Strong understanding of assessment tools, counseling techniques, and special education processes
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for working with students, staff, and families
  • Ability to manage case loads and maintain accurate records efficiently

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting psychological and academic assessments for K-12 students
  • Collaborating with educators, administrators, and parents to develop individualized education programs (IEPs)
  • Providing direct counseling and intervention services to students
  • Participating in multidisciplinary meetings and supporting Response to Intervention (RTI) initiatives
  • Offering crisis intervention, as needed
  • Maintaining compliance with all state and federal regulations
