Qualifications:

  • Valid School Psychologist certification or licensure for the state of NV
  • Master’s or Specialist degree in School Psychology or a related field
  • Previous experience working in a school-based setting, preferably with K-12 students
  • Strong skills in assessment, intervention, and counseling
  • Excellent communication abilities, both written and verbal
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team
  • Commitment to supporting diverse student populations

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct psychoeducational evaluations and assessments as needed
  • Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to develop and implement appropriate interventions and supports
  • Provide individual and group counseling to students as appropriate
  • Participate in the IEP process, including meetings and documentation
  • Monitor student progress and adjust interventions accordingly
  • Offer crisis intervention and guidance support as required
  • Promote a positive, inclusive learning environment for all students
