Step into an impactful school-based position as a School Psychologist, working with 5th and 6th grade students in an on-site setting near Reading, PA. This full-time, contract role offers an engaging schedule—Monday through Friday, 8:15 AM to 3:50 PM, for 37.5 hours per week—through June 4, 2027. Compensation ranges from $55.44 to $65.78 per hour. You’ll join a school-focused environment where your insights contribute to student growth, collaboration, and well-being.
In this role, you’ll manage a caseload averaging 10 student evaluations each month while working as an essential partner in a multidisciplinary team. You’ll help foster a positive, inclusive atmosphere and play a key role in shaping supports for students’ academic, behavioral, and social-emotional needs.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Current certification as a School Psychologist in Pennsylvania
- Previous experience in school-based psychological assessment and intervention preferred
- Familiarity with MTSS (Multi-Tiered System of Supports) and SAP (Student Assistance Program)
- Strong collaboration, communication, and consultation skills
- Ability to manage time efficiently and handle required documentation promptly
- Commitment to promoting a student-centered, inclusive school environment
Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychoeducational and other school-based evaluations for 5th and 6th graders
- Prepare comprehensive evaluation reports and communicate findings to school staff and families
- Participate actively in MTSS and SAP meetings
- Consult with teachers and staff regarding student needs and appropriate interventions
- Collaborate with school teams to develop strategies supporting student success
- Ensure compliance with school and Pennsylvania documentation requirements
