Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid license as a School Psychologist
- Experience working with elementary (K-5), middle (6-8), and/or high school (9-12) students is strongly preferred
- Solid understanding of evaluation and assessment tools for a broad student age range
- Strong communication skills with students, faculty, and families
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
- Commitment to ethical practices and student confidentiality
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform psychological assessments and interpret findings to support IEP development and educational planning
- Deliver counseling and intervention services to students individually and in group settings
- Consult with teachers, families, and administrative staff to address academic, behavioral, and emotional challenges
- Support the implementation of positive behavioral interventions and SEL (social-emotional learning) strategies
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute expertise to educational planning
- Maintain accurate documentation and compliance with relevant state and federal guidelines
