Licensed Grades 6 - 8 School Psychologist - Brainerd, Minnesota

Make a meaningful difference in the lives of students as a School Psychologist working with grades K-12. This contract role lets you support learners from elementary through high school, utilizing your expertise to guide students and staff toward success.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Valid license as a School Psychologist
• Experience working with elementary (K-5), middle (6-8), and/or high school (9-12) students is strongly preferred
• Solid understanding of evaluation and assessment tools for a broad student age range
• Strong communication skills with students, faculty, and families
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
• Commitment to ethical practices and student confidentiality

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform psychological assessments and interpret findings to support IEP development and educational planning
• Deliver counseling and intervention services to students individually and in group settings
• Consult with teachers, families, and administrative staff to address academic, behavioral, and emotional challenges
• Support the implementation of positive behavioral interventions and SEL (social-emotional learning) strategies
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute expertise to educational planning
• Maintain accurate documentation and compliance with relevant state and federal guidelines
