Desired Qualifications:
- Valid certification or licensure as a school psychologist (or eligibility to obtain state licensure)
- Knowledge of psychological testing techniques, assessments, and best practices in school psychology
- Experience with IEPs, Multi-Tiered Systems of Support (MTSS), or Response to Intervention (RTI) processes preferred
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to work with staff, students, and families
- Ability to maintain accurate and confidential documentation in compliance with district, state, and federal guidelines
- Compassion and flexibility to support diverse student needs across K-12
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct psycho-educational and behavioral assessments
- Deliver individual and group counseling sessions as needed
- Participate in eligibility and IEP meetings, supporting data-driven recommendations
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to develop and monitor student interventions
- Offer crisis intervention and help foster a positive school climate
- Assist with consultation and training for staff on mental health and behavioral strategies
