Make a difference in the lives of students while advancing your career as a School Psychologist in the Brandywine, MD area. This contract opportunity is full-time at 35 hours per week and spans the upcoming school year, from August 18, 2025, to June 11, 2026. You’ll cover two schools—one secondary and one elementary—located in the mid to southern region of the county, just 45–50 minutes from Washington, D.C., and a little over an hour from Baltimore.

The director will consider a hybrid schedule for exceptional, highly qualified candidates, with all student-centered work conducted in person and in-school availability required.
Desired Qualifications:
- Valid Maryland School Psychologist certification (applications from out-of-state professionals and new graduates are encouraged)
- Strong skills in assessment, intervention, and consultation within educational settings
- Ability to work collaboratively with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams
- Excellent communication and organizational abilities
- Comfort adapting to working across two campuses
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct student evaluations and assessments to support academic, behavioral, and emotional needs
- Provide counseling, crisis intervention, and guidance to students
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and staff to develop and implement effective intervention strategies
- Participate actively in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team planning
- Support a positive and inclusive learning environment across both schools
