School Psychologist | Brandywine, Maryland

This full-time contract position (35 hours per week) runs from August 13, 2026, through June 10, 2027, and offers flexibility in scheduling, with an option for a hybrid work arrangement.

You'll have the opportunity to support students across two schools, with assignments tailored to your age group and location preferences. While most team meetings can be attended virtually, your in-person expertise will be invaluable on select days for vital meetings such as IEP, 504, or student support sessions. Qualifications:

• Valid School Psychologist certification in Maryland (or eligibility for certification; out-of-state applicants and recent graduates are welcome)
• Strong commitment to student advocacy, well-being, and academic success
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Ability to work independently and within interdisciplinary teams
• Comfortable adapting to hybrid and in-person work environments as needed

Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive psychological services, including assessment, consultation, and intervention
• Participate in IEP and 504 meetings, offering expert support and recommendations
• Collaborate with educators, parents, and outside providers to develop effective strategies for student growth and development
• Maintain thorough and confidential records as required
• Serve as a resource for mental health support and behavioral recommendations
