The assignment spans the entire academic year, from August 13, 2026, through June 10, 2027, offering full-time hours and the option for a hybrid schedule.
Candidates bringing expertise in psychological assessment, consultation, and intervention will thrive here, with all student-centered work conducted in person. Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Certification as a School Psychologist in Maryland (out-of-state certified professionals and new graduates are encouraged to apply)
- Strong assessment, intervention, and consultation skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively with staff, administration, and families
- Experience or interest in a school-based setting
- Willingness to travel between two schools within the district
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and evaluations for special education eligibility
- Deliver individual and group counseling
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams for student success
- Consult with teachers and administrators regarding intervention strategies
- Support the implementation of positive behavioral interventions
- Maintain comprehensive documentation and compliance
