Exciting opportunities are available for experienced and dedicated School Psychologists seeking a contract role for the 2026-27 school year near Bridgeport, CT. This position is open to full-time candidates (32.5 hours per week) but can accommodate part-time schedules as well. In-person work is required, though hybrid arrangements are now possible for qualified applicants.

Your primary responsibility will be conducting evaluations on a regular basis, so comfort and confidence with this process is essential. The role requires Connecticut certification; however, candidates in the process of obtaining their certification are encouraged to apply and will be considered for interviews. Bilingual School Psychologists are especially encouraged, with additional compensation available.

Key Qualifications:

  • Connecticut certification in School Psychology (pending certification considered)
  • Experience in performing comprehensive psychological and psychoeducational evaluations
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams
  • Strong organizational and documentation skills
  • Proficiency in English; bilingual candidates welcomed and compensated accordingly
  • Commitment to delivering services in person; hybrid schedule potential for select applicants

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Conduct timely and thorough psychological assessments and evaluations for students
  • Provide consultation and support to teachers, staff, and families on student learning and behavior
  • Develop data-driven recommendations and intervention plans
  • Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary discussions
  • Maintain accurate and confidential student records
