School Psychologist in Bridgeport, CT

This contract role, available for the 2026-27 school year, is offered full time at 32.5 hours per week, but part-time arrangements can also be accommodated to fit your schedule. While in-person work is required, hybrid applicants will also be considered, providing added flexibility.

Your primary focus will be conducting evaluations as a consistent part of your role, so comfort and proficiency in this area is essential. Positions are available within various teams, including Early Childhood Assessment, and assignments may involve working at more than one location, with bilingual (Spanish) skills highly desired for certain schools. Candidates who are not bilingual but have experience collaborating with interpreters are welcome. Opportunities include being based out of a core school while also supporting evaluations at charter schools.

Qualifications:

• Connecticut School Psychologist certification required (pending certification may be considered)
• Strong foundation in school-based psychological evaluations
• Experience in educational settings conducting assessments and collaborating with multi-disciplinary teams
• Flexibility and adaptability to work across early childhood and primary school settings
• Bilingual (Spanish) proficiency preferred for relevant positions, or the ability to work effectively with interpreters
• Commitment to in-person or hybrid service delivery

Responsibilities:

• Complete assessments and evaluations for students across various age groups
• Collaborate with educators, families, and other professionals to support students’ needs
• Contribute to multidisciplinary team meetings and the development of intervention plans
• Maintain thorough documentation and follow all district and state guidelines
