Embark on a meaningful contract assignment supporting young learners as a School Psychologist in a vibrant PreK-2nd grade environment. This full-time, on-site opportunity spans from August 26th through January 1st and offers a balanced 35-hour workweek, designed to let you fully engage with students while still savoring your outside-of-work passions.

Ideal candidates will bring experience, compassion, and their certification as a School Psychologist (070), ready to make a significant impact in a collaborative school setting.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Valid certification as a School Psychologist (070) required
  • Expertise with PreK-2nd grade student populations
  • Strong background in assessing social, emotional, and behavioral needs
  • Proven track record in conducting evaluations and classroom observations
  • Experience developing and implementing individual and group counseling interventions
  • Effective communication and rapport-building skills with students, families, and colleagues
  • Familiarity with PPT and 504 processes is highly valued

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments and classroom observations for students with social, emotional, or behavioral concerns
  • Deliver evidence-based therapeutic counseling to individuals and small groups
  • Play an integral role in planning, facilitating, and documenting all PPT meetings
  • Coordinate and lead 504 meetings to ensure students’ needs are met and support plans are followed
  • Work collaboratively with teachers, related service providers, and administrators to promote positive outcomes
  • Assist in the development and ongoing review of student support plans
