Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Valid CT 070 School Psychologist License required
- Experience working in school settings strongly preferred
- Proficiency in conducting evaluations, re-evaluations, and assessment reports
- Strong counseling skills with the ability to provide direct support to students
- Collaborative approach to supporting teams and facilitating PPT (Planning and Placement Team) meetings
- Excellent communication and organizational abilities
Responsibilities:
- Administer assessments for students, including initial and re-evaluations
- Prepare clear, actionable psychological reports for school teams and families
- Provide individual and group counseling for students as assigned
- Serve as a key member of the PPT team, contributing insights for student plans and supports
- Deliver direct support to students, addressing academic, behavioral, and social-emotional needs
- Consult and collaborate with staff, teachers, and families to promote student success
