Qualifications & Desired Experience:

  • Valid CT 070 School Psychologist License required
  • Experience working in school settings strongly preferred
  • Proficiency in conducting evaluations, re-evaluations, and assessment reports
  • Strong counseling skills with the ability to provide direct support to students
  • Collaborative approach to supporting teams and facilitating PPT (Planning and Placement Team) meetings
  • Excellent communication and organizational abilities

Responsibilities:

  • Administer assessments for students, including initial and re-evaluations
  • Prepare clear, actionable psychological reports for school teams and families
  • Provide individual and group counseling for students as assigned
  • Serve as a key member of the PPT team, contributing insights for student plans and supports
  • Deliver direct support to students, addressing academic, behavioral, and social-emotional needs
  • Consult and collaborate with staff, teachers, and families to promote student success
