Key Qualifications:
- Master’s or Doctoral degree in School Psychology or a related field
- Valid state licensure or eligibility as a School Psychologist
- Experience working in K-12 educational settings
- Strong understanding of Multi-Tiered Systems of Support (MTSS) and Response to Intervention (RTI)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with students, staff, and parents
- Ability to conduct assessments, interpret results, and write comprehensive reports
- Collaborative mindset and a proactive approach to problem-solving
What You'll Do:
- Conduct psychoeducational assessments and interpret data to support informed decision-making
- Participate in the development of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and 504 plans
- Consult with teachers, administrators, and parents regarding interventions and strategies
- Offer counseling and support services to students, helping address behavioral and emotional challenges
- Lead and participate in crisis intervention and prevention initiatives
- Maintain thorough records and ensure compliance with state and federal regulations
- Stay current on best practices in school psychology and participate in professional development as needed
