This unique contract opportunity near Bridgeton, NJ, is designed for professionals who thrive on meaningful impact in a collaborative environment while maintaining work-life balance. You'll devote about 5 hours each week to providing essential evaluations and participating in meetings for students from PreK through 8th grade.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Valid certification or licensure as a School Psychologist
  • Previous experience working with PreK-8th grade populations
  • Strong skills in educational and psychological evaluation
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
  • Familiarity with relevant laws and best practices in school psychology

Key Responsibilities:

  • Administer and interpret psychological and educational assessments for diverse learners
  • Attend and contribute to meetings regarding student support plans, interventions, and eligibility
  • Provide input and recommendations based on evaluation outcomes to guide individualized educational programming
  • Consult with teachers and staff to foster supportive learning environments
  • Maintain thorough, timely documentation in compliance with state and federal guidelines
