Make a meaningful impact in the educational journey of students as a dedicated School Psychologist working with K-2 and 6-8 grade levels on a full-time contract basis. This dynamic position allows you to support two vibrant campuses and collaborate closely with educators, students, and families to foster positive learning environments.
Key Qualifications:
- Must hold current certification and credentials as a School Psychologist
- Proven experience working in school-based settings, preferably with both elementary and middle school populations
- Proficient in conducting evaluations, including initials and re-evaluations (approximately 50 cases anticipated)
- Ability to communicate findings and recommendations clearly to students, staff, and families
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Collaborative approach and commitment to supporting students with diverse needs
Primary Responsibilities:
- Perform comprehensive psycho-educational assessments, including initial and re-evaluations, across both campuses
- Develop and present assessment results and recommendations to support IEP teams
- Consult with teachers, administrators, and parents to create effective strategies for student success
- Contribute to the development of individualized education programs (IEPs)
- Provide crisis intervention and counseling support as needed
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with district, state, and federal guidelines
