Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Master's or Specialist-level degree in School Psychology or related field
- Valid School Psychologist credential or eligibility for certification in Massachusetts
- Previous experience in an elementary (K-5) setting preferred
- Strong knowledge of assessment tools, intervention strategies, and multi-tiered systems of support
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for engaging with students, staff, and families
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments for K-5 students to identify strengths and areas of need
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents to foster a supportive learning environment
- Provide crisis intervention, counseling, and behavioral support as needed
- Participate in school team meetings and contribute to data-driven decision making
- Advocate for equitable access to resources and services for all students
