Support student success as a contract School Psychologist for a school-based assignment beginning in January and extending through June to cover a maternity leave. Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Licensed or certified School Psychologist (or eligibility in Massachusetts)
- Graduate degree in School Psychology or related field required
- Previous experience in school settings recommended
- Strong skills in conducting psychoeducational evaluations
- Proficient in report writing, documentation, and data interpretation
- Familiarity with special education processes and multidisciplinary teams
- Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer a range of standardized assessments as part of comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and staff to gather data and insights for evaluations
- Create clear, thorough reports to document assessment findings and recommendations
- Participate in meetings (including IEP and eligibility meetings) as needed
- Provide insights and guidance to support student learning and well-being
- Maintain accurate records while ensuring compliance with relevant laws and ethical standards
