Ideal Qualifications & Experience:

• Valid certification or licensure as a School Psychologist in Massachusetts
• Experience working with adolescents in a school setting, preferably at the high school level
• Proficiency in performing psychoeducational evaluations and interpreting assessment data
• Strong collaboration skills to engage with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams
• Deep understanding of special education law, regulations, and Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
• Compassionate, student-centered approach with the ability to build rapport with diverse learners

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct psychoeducational assessments to identify students’ academic, behavioral, and emotional needs
• Lead and participate in IEP meetings, contributing actionable insights and recommendations
• Provide short-term counseling, crisis intervention, and support for students facing social or emotional challenges
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents to develop strategies for student success
• Implement and monitor progress of behavior intervention plans and support programs
• Advocate for students’ mental health and educational needs within the school community
