School Psychologist in Brockton, MA

Key Qualifications:

• Hold a valid state certification as a School Psychologist
• Master’s degree or higher in School Psychology or a related field
• Experience conducting psychoeducational assessments, counseling, and behavioral interventions in a school setting
• Ability to collaborate effectively with staff, students, and families
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills
• Previous experience working with elementary-age children (K-5) preferred

Primary Responsibilities:

• Split schedule between two elementary schools, providing comprehensive support to K-5 students
• Conduct evaluations, assessments, and re-evaluations as required by state and federal guidelines
• Develop and implement intervention strategies, direct counseling, and consultative services
• Participate in IEP meetings, contribute to multidisciplinary teams, and communicate assessment results to staff and families
• Assist in creating a safe, supportive, and inclusive school climate
• Monitor student progress and adjust interventions as needed
