A dynamic opportunity is available for a skilled School Psychologist to support student well-being and academic success in schools across Brooklyn, NY. This role involves travel between multiple school locations, offering a diverse and engaging professional experience.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments to identify student needs and challenges.
  • Collaborate with educators, parents, and administrators to develop effective intervention plans.
  • Provide counseling and support services to students to promote mental health and resilience.
  • Assist in the development of individualized education programs (IEPs) and behavior intervention plans (BIPs).
  • Monitor student progress and adjust strategies as necessary to ensure positive outcomes.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute expert insights on student development.

Qualifications:

  • Master’s or Doctoral degree in School Psychology or related field.
  • Valid New York State certification or eligibility as a School Psychologist.
  • Experience conducting assessments and implementing interventions in school settings.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Ability to travel regularly within Brooklyn to multiple school sites.
  • Commitment to promoting inclusive and supportive educational environments.

Location: This travel position is based in Brooklyn, NY, requiring movement between various school locations throughout the borough.
