Qualifications/Desired Experience:

  • Current and valid North Carolina School Psychologist license – required
  • Certification as a School Psychologist
  • Experience working in an educational setting across elementary, middle, and high school grade levels
  • Strong aptitude for conducting assessments and evaluations with diverse K-12 student populations
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and collaboration skills

Responsibilities:

  • Administer comprehensive psychological assessments and evaluations for students in grades K-12, addressing a range of academic, behavioral, and emotional needs
  • Interpret evaluation results and provide clear, actionable reports to school teams and families
  • Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams to develop and monitor student support plans
  • Offer consultation to teachers and staff to promote student engagement and success
  • Provide crisis intervention and support when necessary
  • Uphold ethical standards and promote best practices in services delivered
