School Psychologist – Full-Time Position (2026–2027 School Year) Assignment Details

The School Psychologist will serve as an integral member of the building-based team, supporting students through problem-solving processes, intervention planning, and evaluation services. Responsibilities include participation in Student Intervention Teams, Building Crisis Teams, and completion of IEP-related evaluations and services.

Student Population

Kindergarten – 5th Grade

Assignment Dates

Start Date: July 30, 2026
End Date: June 2, 2027

Hours

37.5 hours per week

Core Responsibilities

  • Conduct psychoeducational evaluations for special education eligibility and services
  • Participate in Student Intervention and problem-solving teams
  • Serve as a member of the Building Crisis Team
  • Provide consultation to staff on academic, behavioral, and social-emotional needs
  • Support development and implementation of IEPs
  • Collaborate with educators, families, and support staff to promote student success

Ideal Candidate

  • Experienced in K–5 school-based psychology services
  • Strong background in evaluation and eligibility determination
  • Skilled in collaboration and team-based problem solving
  • Comfortable supporting crisis response and intervention systems
