School Psychologist – Full-Time Position (2026–2027 School Year) Assignment Details

The School Psychologist will serve as an integral member of the building-based team. Daily responsibilities include participation in problem-solving processes, Student Intervention Teams, and Building Crisis Teams, in addition to traditional school psychology duties related to IEP evaluations and special education services.

Grade Levels Served

  • Kindergarten – 5th Grade
  • 6th Grade – 8th Grade

Assignment Dates

Start Date: July 30, 2026
End Date: June 2 (year TBD)

Hours

37.5 hours per week

Core Responsibilities

  • Conduct psychoeducational evaluations for special education eligibility
  • Participate in Student Intervention and problem-solving teams
  • Serve as a member of the Building Crisis Team
  • Support IEP development, evaluations, and related services
  • Provide consultation to staff regarding academic, behavioral, and social-emotional needs
  • Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and support staff to support student success across two buildings

Ideal Candidate

  • Experienced in K–8 school-based psychology services
  • Strong background in evaluation and eligibility determination
  • Comfortable working across multiple school levels (elementary and middle school)
  • Strong collaboration and crisis-response skills
  • Organized and able to manage a dual-building caseload
