What You’ll Bring:
- Valid state licensure/certification as a school psychologist
- Experience with psychoeducational assessments and interpretation
- Strong knowledge of IEP development, implementation, and legal compliance
- Comfort working with diverse student populations and collaborating with teachers, parents, and administration
- Familiarity with Multi-Tiered Systems of Support (MTSS), Response to Intervention (RTI), and evidence-based intervention strategies
- Excellent communication, organizational, and case management skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify students’ strengths and needs
- Interpret evaluation data and provide recommendations for educational planning and interventions
- Participate in IEP meetings, working collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams
- Counsel students individually or in small groups to address academic, behavioral, and social-emotional concerns
- Consult with teachers and staff on effective instructional and behavioral support techniques
- Provide crisis intervention, conflict resolution, and support during critical incidents
- Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with federal, state, and district regulations
