Make a meaningful impact on students’ lives by providing critical psychological support across several elementary and middle school campuses. This contract opportunity offers the chance to work as an itinerant school psychologist, fostering healthy learning environments and ensuring students receive essential services and evaluations. You’ll be based on-site, collaborating closely with dedicated educators and support professionals.

What You’ll Bring:

  • Active License Specialist in School Psychology (LSSP) or Associate School Psychologist Credential issued by the Board of Examiners of Psychologist
  • Flexibility to travel between five assigned schools, primarily elementary with some middle school
  • Experience conducting assessments and providing services for AU, ED, and OHI, including ADHD
  • Familiarity with delivering direct services, as well as Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs) and Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs)
  • Bilingual skills in Spanish and English preferred
  • Previous experience in a school setting highly valued
  • Ability to complete or verify fingerprinting requirements through the TEA (can take up to 10 business days)

Your Core Responsibilities:

  • Perform psychoeducational evaluations and create intervention strategies
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams for student support
  • Provide direct consultation and hands-on services to students, staff, and families
  • Develop and implement behavior intervention plans and supportive documentation
  • Travel between assigned campuses while managing a diverse caseload efficiently

This is a full-time, contract position spanning the academic year, with a weekly commitment of 35 hours. Assignments begin in August and continue through the end of May, allowing you to work on-site where your expertise is especially valued.
