A professional opportunity is available for a School Psychologist to provide critical support and guidance within an educational setting. This contract role offers a chance to positively impact the academic and emotional well-being of students through comprehensive psychological services.
Location: Burlington, Kansas
Schedule: Monday through Friday, 35-40 hours per week
Position Type: Contract, onsite
Duration: Remainder of the school year
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychological assessments and evaluations to identify student needs
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and administrators to develop intervention plans
- Provide counseling and support to students facing behavioral, emotional, or academic challenges
- Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and contribute to developing appropriate accommodations
- Maintain accurate records and documentation as required by school policies and regulations
Desired Qualifications:
- Valid credential/license to practice as a School Psychologist
- Strong skills in psychological testing, assessment, and interpretation
- Ability to communicate effectively with students, families, and school staff
- Demonstrated compassion and commitment to supporting student success and well-being
- Experience working within school systems preferred
